Greater Vision Academy skates past Clover Garden School with ease

Recap: Greater Vision Academy Lions vs. Clover Garden School Grizzlies

The Greater Vision Academy Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 68-29 win over Clover Garden School on the road. The win was just what Greater Vision Academy needed coming off of a 88-42 loss in their prior matchup.

Greater Vision Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greysen McCadden, who scored 16 points along with four steals. The contest was McCadden's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Huffman , who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Greater Vision Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Clover Garden School, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Greater Vision Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eno River at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Eno River will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 605th, while Greater Vision Academy is ranked 247th). Clover Garden School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Falls Lake at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
