Mekeel Christian Academy came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Middleburgh, but Payton Yung wouldn't allow it. The Middleburgh Knights managed a 39-33 victory over the Mekeel Christian Academy Lions on Wednesday thanks to Yung, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 18 boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Middleburgh's points.

Middleburgh has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-14 record this season. As for Mekeel Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Middleburgh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-26 defeat against Canajoharie on the 15th. Mekeel Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
