Baseball Game Preview: Knippa Crushers vs. Sabinal Yellowjackets

Knippa hasn't had much luck against Sabinal recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Knippa will head out on the road to face off against Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. Knippa has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Knippa came up short against Falls City on Friday, falling 13-2.

Johnny R was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Sabinal came up short against Three Rivers on Friday and fell 11-8. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sabinal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Knippa, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Knippa might still be hurting after the 24-6 loss they got from Sabinal in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Knippa avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
