Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Farmersville). They breezed by the Alpaugh Buffalos to the tune of 57-29 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Aztecs as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Alpaugh lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Richard Luna, who posted six points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Uriel Perez, who scored five points and six boards.

Farmersville's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15. As for Alpaugh, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Farmersville has already played their next match, a 41-35 victory against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 24th. As for Alpaugh, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-30 defeat against Laton on the 24th.
