Baseball Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

The Heritage Academy Heroes came up short against the Veritas Prep Falcons on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The Heroes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaias Ruiz, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Veritas Prep, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Heritage Academy will face off against rival Santa Cruz Valley at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Veritas Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Horizon Honors at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.8, the Eagles 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
