 The Hesperia Christian Patriots will look to defend their home field  on Monday against the Granite Hills Cougars at 3:15  p.m. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Hesperia Christian stacked  a  tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Trona 29-1. Hesperia Christian's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Nathaniel Renner made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Renner was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 4-for-5 with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Luke Beasley looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  Cory Villalba was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base.  Reoto Takemura was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Granite Hills got themselves on the board against Victor Valley on Thursday, but Victor Valley never followed suit. They walked away with  a   3-0  victory over the Jackrabbits.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Hesperia Christian and  bumps their season record up to 11-4. As for Granite Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
 Everything went Hesperia Christian's way against Granite Hills in their previous meeting  back in March of 2022 as Hesperia Christian made off with  a  9-0 win. Does  Hesperia Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Granite Hills turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
