Soccer Recap: Smoky Hill Takes a Loss

Smoky Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Arapahoe Warriors, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Smoky Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Arapahoe are ranked 20th).

Smoky Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Arapahoe, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 6-2-1.

Smoky Hill wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Grandview on the 17th. As for Arapahoe, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Cherry Creek on the 17th.
