Volleyball Recap: Christel House Starts Season with Win Against Beech Grove

Christel House gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Beech Grove Hornets 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Christel House's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19, 25-10.

Christel House's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Carrillo-Miramontes, who had three digs and three aces. Kevin Cruz Vera was another key player, getting six kills and five digs.

Coincidentally, Christel House and Beech Grove will both be playing Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter the next time they take the court. Christel House will host Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Beech Grove will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
