Dillion Hughes posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
