Basketball Recap: Red Hook Victorious

Red Hook won the last time they faced Spackenkill and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Hook Raiders snuck past the Spackenkill Spartans with a 52-47 victory.

When it comes to explaining why Spackenkill lost, don't look at Blythe McQuade. Despite the final result, she went 9-for-22 en route to 23 points and six steals. McQuade has become a key player for Spackenkill: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least five steals, but 7-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Maryclare Parker-Stark, who posted 15 points and eight rebounds.
