 After two games on the road, Williams Bay is heading back home. They will take on the Fall River Pirates at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Williams Bay will be strutting in after a  win while Fall River will be coming in after a  loss.
 Williams Bay is headed into the  match fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They blew past Rio 17-3. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  victory of the  season.
  Loralei Warrenburg was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Kalie Stanek, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Fall River is still looking for their first win of the season after five  matchups. They suffered a  tough 17-5 defeat at the hands of Palmyra-Eagle  on Tuesday.
  Olivia Fietz was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.  Avery Schlachter was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Williams Bay pushed their record up to 3-3 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Fall River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Williams Bay might still be hurting after the  21-14 defeat they got from Fall River  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Can Williams Bay avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
