Basketball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

Denmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Forsyth Central Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Denmark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 509th, while Forsyth Central is ranked 131st).

Denmark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Forsyth Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Denmark will be taking part in a tournament against Brookwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Denmark is facing Brookwood at the right time seeing as Brookwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Forsyth Central, they will take on Knox Central in a tournament on December 27th.
