Basketball Recap: Leipsic Comes Up Short

If Leipsic was feeling good fresh off their 63-35 takedown of Vanlue last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Leipsic Vikings took a 68-54 bruising from the Ada Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Leipsic has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Ada, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7.

Leipsic will host McComb at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ada has already played their next game (against Pandora-Gilboa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
