Soccer Recap: Uintah Comes Up Short

Uintah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Alta Hawks. While losing is never fun, Uintah can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Alta are ranked third).

Uintah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Alta, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uintah will host Provo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Uintah's defense better be ready for this one: Provo have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Alta, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against East at 3:30 p.m.
