Baseball Recap: Patriot Comes Up Short

The Patriot Warriors came up short against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles on Friday and fell 6-1.

Patriot saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dustin Thayer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Patriot's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Arrowhead Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patriot will square off against Rubidoux at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Arrowhead Christian, they will challenge Ontario Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
