With a playoff win on the line, Floydada rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Post Antelopes 10-3. The Whirlwinds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 24 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Bella Perez was excellent, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Floydada was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Post only posted a batting average of .160.

Floydada has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Post, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-15.

As of now, neither Floydada nor the Antelopes have any future games scheduled.
