After a string of five wins, Shrine Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Petoskey Northmen.

Shrine Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-1. As for Petoskey, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Shrine Catholic will challenge Greenhills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenhills will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shrine Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Petoskey, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Cadillac at 7:00 p.m. Petoskey are facing Cadillac at the right time seeing as Cadillac are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
