Soccer Recap: Millersburg vs. Big Spring
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northern Lebanon, Millersburg was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Big Spring Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout. Keira Sweppenheiser had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Indians.
The win got Millersburg back to even at 2-2. As for Big Spring, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millersburg will square off against Susquenita at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Big Spring, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Susquehanna Township at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
