It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Walker had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Galloway Scots by a score of 3-1. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scots, too.
Walker found their leader in underclassman Kinley Crisp, who had 15 digs and four aces. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Crisp.
Walker was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
Walker's win bumped their record up to 29-16. As for Galloway, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-23.
Walker will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Mount Pisgah Christian at 11:00 a.m. Mount Pisgah Christian is coming into the contest with five straight victories at home, so Walker will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Galloway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
