Tallulah Falls hasn't had much luck against Athens Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Athens Academy will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Tallulah Falls extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. Everything went the Indians' way against Loganville Christian Academy as they made off with a 5-2 win. The score was close at halftime, but Tallulah Falls pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit Loganville Christian Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Laurel Kafsky (2), Bailey Crumley, Ryleigh Wilson, and Lizzie Huebner.

Meanwhile, Athens Academy came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Red Raiders a 3-0 shutout.

Athens Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four contests. As for Tallulah Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
