Northampton has gone a perfect 4-0 against Franklin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Northampton will venture away from home to challenge Franklin at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Northampton can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Monday. They came up short against Bruton, falling 22-8.

Northampton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Dinwiddie, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI.

Meanwhile, Franklin fell victim to Windsor and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Dukes by a score of 1-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Everything went Northampton's way against Franklin in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Northampton made off with a 25-1 win. Does Northampton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
