Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Central Valley had already won three in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Patrick's Irish by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bentleigh Dugan paced Central Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Dugan got some help from Annaka Wood and her 15 assists. Wood was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Central Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Patrick's, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Central Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Overton on the 30th. As for St. Patrick's, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Shelton on the 30th.
