Football Recap: Sherman Comes Up Short

Sherman was the 40-13 winner over Centennial when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats took a 16-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Friday. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Bearcats couldn't quite close it out.

Brayden Sheffield threw for 82 yards on 13 of 27 attempts. Christian MacKey was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Pierre Browhow rushed for 64 yards.

Sherman is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Centennial, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2.
