Softball Recap: Claiborne Christian Takes a Loss

Claiborne Christian lost against Choudrant back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Claiborne Christian Crusaders fell just short of the Choudrant Aggies by a score of 5-4. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Claiborne Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Choudrant, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Claiborne Christian has already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Ruston on the 8th. As for Choudrant, they will host Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Weston has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something Choudrant will no doubt try to take advantage of.
