Volleyball Recap: Clarkston Triumphs

Clarkston won the last time they faced South Gwinnett and things went their way on Thursday too. The Angoras walked away with a 2-0 win over the Comets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Angoras.

Clarkston easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Solomon Vabierona, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high.

Clarkston's victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Clarkston will challenge Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gwinnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
