Volleyball Recap: Robert C. Byrd Takes a Loss

Robert C. Byrd lost against Bridgeport on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2.

Robert C. Byrd wouldn't go down easily and took Bridgeport into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-21, 24-26, 15-11.

Robert C. Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Bridgeport, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 32-11-5.

Robert C. Byrd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bridgeport, they will face off against Spring Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
