Soccer Game Preview: Buhl vs. Sun Valley Community

Buhl is 0-10 against Sun Valley Community since September of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Indians will look to defend their home pitch against the Cutthroats at 4:00 p.m. Buhl's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Buhl took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Filer, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Buhl have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Neryk Garcia-Barajas, who's now up to 12 this season.

Meanwhile, Sun Valley Community made easy work of Kimberly on Tuesday and carried off a 4-0 win. Sun Valley Community might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Sun Valley Community is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Buhl, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.
