Softball Recap: Miami Springs Takes a Loss

Miami Springs lost against St. Brendan back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Miami Springs Golden Hawks lost 16-1 to the St. Brendan Sabres. The Golden Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Miami Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for St. Brendan, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Miami Springs will be playing at home against Ferguson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ferguson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.3 runs per game this season. As for St. Brendan, they will head out on the road to square off against Schoolhouse Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Brendan also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 7.5 runs per game.
