Volleyball Recap: Kit Carson Wildcats vs. Cheyenne Wells Tigers
Kit Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cheyenne Wells Tigers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-19.
Among those leading the charge was Kenzie Brossman, who had seven digs and three aces.
Kit Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Cheyenne Wells, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.
Kit Carson will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Idalia at 6:00 p.m. on October 17th. As for Cheyenne Wells, they will take on Genoa-Hugo/Karval at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheyenne Wells is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
