Baseball Recap: Beamer Comes Up Short

Beamer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cleveland Eagles, falling 7-1. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Cleveland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beamer will square off against Decatur at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Gators' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cleveland, they will face off against Franklin at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Quakers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
