North Buncombe came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Erwin, but Carson Wallace wouldn't allow it. The Erwin Warriors came out on top against the North Buncombe Black Hawks by a score of 86-75 on Thursday thanks to Wallace, who almost dropped a double-double with 34 points and nine boards. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Avery Rymer was another key player, going 7-for-13 to rack up 20 points. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, North Buncombe still got an impressive performance from Cole Edmonds, who posted 27 points and eight rebounds. North Buncombe is 9-4 when Edmonds posts 15 or more points, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Trent Clark, who went 8-for-16 en route to 20 points.

Erwin's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for North Buncombe, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

As of now, neither Erwin nor North Buncombe have any future games scheduled.
