Baseball Recap: Harmon Takes a Loss

Harmon managed to slip by Washington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks lost 12-2 to the Wildcats on Friday. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Harmon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eliseo Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. The Hawks are 6-2 when Hernandez posts two or more stolen bases, but 2-8 otherwise. Another was Jackson Williams, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Harmon dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Washington, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Harmon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-2 loss against Turner on the 5th. As for Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-2 victory against Schlagle on the 6th.
