Little River Academy is 10-0 against Rockdale since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Little River Academy Bumblebees are taking a road trip to square off against the Rockdale Tigers at 1:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Little River Academy and three for Rockdale.

Little River Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Gatesville on Friday. Little River Academy came up short against Gatesville, falling 68-44. While losing is never fun, the Bumblebees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1329th, while the Hornets are ranked 537th).

Meanwhile, Rockdale lost 63-38 to New Caney on Saturday.

Rockdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Little River Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Little River Academy took their victory against Rockdale when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 62-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Little River Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
