Basketball Recap: Clarkdale Bulldogs vs. Newton Tigers
The Clarkdale Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Newton, falling 91-63. Clarkdale has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Clarkdale still got an impressive performance from Connor Mcdill, who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcdill has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cade Culpepper, who scored five points along with six steals and five assists.
Clarkdale now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Newton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-6.
Clarkdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Newton also has no future games currently scheduled.
