Valley had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They blew past the Hagerman Pirates 70-24. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Hagerman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Krickit Wise posted eight points.

Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Hagerman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-57 win against Oakley on the 29th. Hagerman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
