Volleyball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was the 2-1 winner over White Oak when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks fell just short of the Roughnecks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for White Oak, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Marshall will host Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mavericks surely won't give up without a fight. As for White Oak, they are taking a road trip to take on Lufkin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
