Soccer Recap: Bettendorf Takes a Loss

Bettendorf managed to keep up with Wheaton-Warrenville South until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Bettendorf couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bettendorf's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1-2.

Looking ahead, Bettendorf will take on Alleman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Alleman's last seven matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they will be playing at home against Glenbard South at 6:03 p.m. on Tuesday.
