Softball Recap: Wilmot Takes a Loss

Wilmot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 20-10 to the Waterford Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Monday.

Kinlee Abell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Savannah Walshire, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Wilmot's defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Waterford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-12.

As of now, neither Wilmot nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
