Softball Recap: Lehman Lobos vs. Lockhart Lions
Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockhart Lions. Lehman was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lockhart apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.
Graciela Quiroz was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Lockhart, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-20-1.
Lehman will face off against Hays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hays is coming into the contest with three straight losses at home, meaning Lehman will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Lockhart will take on Leander at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leander will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lockhart surely won't give up without a fight.
