Volleyball Game Preview: Shasta Wolves vs. Chico Panthers

The Shasta Wolves will square off against the Chico Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Shasta is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Wednesday, Shasta got the win against Orland by a conclusive 3-0.

Shasta walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Chico challenged Redding Christian on Wednesday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Chico was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 11-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Shasta pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Chico, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
