Basketball Recap: Marble Falls Comes Up Short

Marble Falls was the 61-56 winner over Lampasas when they last played one another on January 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Marble Falls Mustangs received a blow on Friday as they fell 45-31 to the Lampasas Badgers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marble Falls' loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Lampasas, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marble Falls will take on Gateway College Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway College Preparatory will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Marble Falls surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lampasas, they will challenge Jarrell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
