Softball Recap: Magoffin County Comes Up Short

Magoffin County lost against Pikeville on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magoffin County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Pikeville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magoffin County will face off against Paintsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pikeville, they will challenge Knott County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
