Basketball Recap: Tuscarora Takes a Loss

Tuscarora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 38-29 to the Loudoun Valley Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Vikings are ranked 89th).

Tuscarora's record is now 1-11. As for Loudoun Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Tuscarora won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loudoun Valley, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Walkersville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Walkersville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
