Softball Game Preview: San Luis Obispo Tigers vs. Righetti Warriors

The San Luis Obispo Tigers will kick their season off against the Righetti Warriors on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled at 3:30 p.m.

Righetti is leaving town to face San Luis Obispo after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Righetti took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Marcos on Friday.

Righetti's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for San Luis Obispo, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (11-15), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

San Luis Obispo suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Righetti when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can San Luis Obispo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
