Football Recap: Glen Allen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Patrick Henry last Friday, Glen Allen came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell 14-8 to the Thomas Dale Knights on Friday. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Jaiden Hite had an outrageously good game for Thomas Dale as he rushed for 94 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

Glen Allen's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Thomas Dale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Allen will face off against Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Crabbers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Thomas Dale, they will take on Prince George at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season.
