Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

St. Joseph Academy entered their tilt with St. Augustine on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-52 W against the Knights. This was a revenge game for the Bloodhounds: when they faced off against the Knights on January 3rd, they had to take a 64-60 defeat.

It was another big night for Jason Aguilar, who went 11-for-16 en route to 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (69%). Gavin Cisneros was another key player, putting up six points.

St. Joseph Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for St. Augustine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-17.
