Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Tigers vs. Collierville Dragons

The Arlington Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Collierville Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Arlington has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three contests.

Arlington is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Houston, who was ranked seventh at the time (Arlington was ranked 24th). Arlington fell 64-56 to Houston on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Collierville also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Southwind by a score of 62-53. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Arlington dropped their record down to 13-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Collierville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Everything went Arlington's way against Collierville in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as Arlington made off with an 86-60 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arlington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
