Baseball Game Preview: Payson Lions vs. Uintah Utes

For the second straight game, Payson will face off against Uintah. The Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Utes at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Payson has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Payson is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 19-3 to Uintah.

Payson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddux DeGraffenried, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Payson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Uintah, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-12.
