Soccer Game Preview: Pine vs. Suncoast

The Pine Knights will take on the Suncoast Chargers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Pine's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Sebastian River 8-0. The result was nothing new for Pine, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Sebastian River from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Max Lehman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, while it was Suncoast who put the first goals on the board on Monday, it was Benjamin who put up more. The Chargers came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 5-2. The loss continues a trend for Suncoast in their meetings with Benjamin: they've now lost three in a row.

Pine's win bumped their record up to 13-0-1. As for Suncoast, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1.
