Volleyball Recap: Krum Bobcats vs. Eagle Mountain Knights

Krum suffered their biggest defeat since August 27th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Eagle Mountain Knights. Considering the last time the Bobcats couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Krum ultimately came up short, they really made Eagle Mountain work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, 25-18.

Eagle Mountain was led to victory by Brooke Lacewell and Lexi Nichols. Lacewell had 24 kills and 12 digs, while Nichols had 26 digs and two aces. Lacewell has been hot recently, having posted nine or more kills the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Adams, who had six digs and 19 assists.

Burkburnett is coming into the contest with three straight defeats at home, meaning Eagle Mountain will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
